Grown in the Awatere and Wairau valleys this dry styled Riesling captures freshness and delicacy with lime, citrus and floral notes.
The juice was settled for clarity and then cool fermented to retain the fruit’s intense varietal characters. The wine was aged briefly on yeast lees before bottling to enhance palate texture and complexity. Bottled 24th February 2017.

Fruit for this wine was sourced from the Wairau Valley; central Wairau Valley (45%) and Wairau finger valley of Waihopai (55%). The vines are planted on a variety of soil types ranging from free draining gravelly soils to those of silty clay. With low yielding vines followed by typical warm days and cool nights, the result is a wine that shows classic fresh flavours with purity and intensity.
