Fragrant aromas of rose petal and strawberries lead into flavours of delicious summer berries. This dry styled wine is best served lightly chilled and can be enjoyed with food or on its own.
A classical approach to Rose winemaking was employed in the creation of this wine. Harvested grapes were left to rest briefly on skins before being gently pressed. The gentle extraction of colour during this period has resulted in the wines delicate pink hue. Following a brief settling period the juice was then cool fermented to ensure the preservation of fruit purity, freshness and aromatic intensity. Post fermentation the wine rested for several months before being lightly fined, filtered and bottled.

This Merlot dominant Rose is produced from our Joseph Soler vineyard in Hawke's Bay and is blended with small parcels of Pinot Noir (5%) and Syrah (1%). The light soil type and the unique meso-climate of this vineyard combined with the bright summer of 2018 has produced a fresh and aromatic wine
