Grown in the Awatere and Wairau valleys this dry styled Riesling captures freshness and delicacy with lime, citrus and floral notes.
The juice was settled for clarity and then cool fermented to retain the fruit’s intense varietal characters. The wine was aged briefly on yeast lees before bottling to enhance palate texture and complexity. Bottled 16th October 2015.

Fruit for this wine was sourced from the Awatere(42%), central Wairau Valley (16%) and Wairau finger valley of Waihopai (42%) where the vines are planted on a variety of soil types ranging from free draining gravelly soils to silty clay. Low yielding vines and typical warm days and cool nights have resulted in a wine showing fresh classic flavours with purity and intensity.
